Pros

The Copy and Print department allows employees to make use of their creativity, design, and interpersonal skills. It is an excellent opportunity for honing personalized customer service skills, and forming relationships with repeat customers that lends an enjoyable familiarity to the job.

Cons

Customers who aren't familiar with computers or other technologies like fax machines and printers and are rude or unwilling to listen to the advice of the copy and print employees can make the position frustrating. Having to enforce store policies on payment for computer use, prices of services, proof approval, and copyright laws becomes difficult when the management refuses to stand by those policies during conflict with customers and instead allows them to berate employees and refund any and all payment for services rendered. For percentage of sales the Copy and Print department contributes to the overall store's sales goals, and the high volume of high quality work the department produces, the associates should be paid much more than we are currently. At any other company, the design work we produce would be much more expensive. At times, one almost feels taken advantage of.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company.

Cons

Low pay, grueling hours, unsafe and toxic work environment. The company does not offer opportunities for its sore employees to advance to the corporate sector; especially if you have a college degree. As a store employee neither you, your expertise and skill set, nor your ideas on how to improve workflow and company culture matter.
