Pros

Vacation is ample, if you are allowed to use it. President seems great, but is either oblivious to a lot of what's happening or doesn't care.

Cons

While many lower level employees don't get paid a living wage, upper level administrators continue to reward themselves with 6-figure jobs & bonuses that equal more than some employees get paid in a quarter. Turnover in the SEES division seems to be at all-time high, and most current employees are looking for a way out but no one is asking "why?". Employees aren't supported in telling students "no" even when it's what they should hear at the time, so students easily get what they want by going up the chain. Seem to be "in" groups and "out" groups. If you're in, you get lots of extra opportunities, promote quick and fast. If you're "out", you'll never have a chance at promoting. Skill seems to be irrelevant. Depending on your department/role, lots of overtime and very stressful work. If you're on salary, that means no overtime pay. It's up to the individual boss if you get flex time or not.

Pros

The team behind the internship was incredibly accommodating.

Cons

The internship could have spent more time explaining design thinking. And I had trouble with getting my direct deposit set up.
