Pros

if the workers take over the company and turn it into a worker's co-operative where they democratically take on the role that the boards of directors normally assume, it could be a good company

Cons

Hudson Bay Railway doesnt pay some of hte local hotels rent and expected us to stay temporarily in a hotel with bedbugs. Hudson Bay Railway flagrantly violates collective agreement. Hudson Bay Railway doesnt maintain bunkhouse. Hudson Bay Railway has alot of shifts running in the middle of the night when the track is mostly empty in the day time. Hudson Bay Railway has employees who complained about not being paid.

Company is well run and diversified. People are great - nice, reliable, and consistent.

Cons

Working on harmonization across companies. It can be difficult to find policies and procedures at time. However, this is changing, and I already see it getting better.

Nothing - a toxic backstabbing and miserable environment

Cons

The HR team is awful to work with. They back stab and to your face act like they are your best friends. Everyone working there is MISERABLE and while they paid well, not worth the mental angst. Only worked there a few months before knowing I HAD TO GET OUT.
