Pros

From the outside, everything looks OK.

Cons

This organization struggles with maintaining consistency within their HR function. In turn, too many CEOs, EVPs, and SVPs come in, make great money, and leave the company in turmoil. Spending is excessive leaving the future in jeopardy. Turnover on the front line is extremely high. Looking at the 990 filings from 2018 through current, the poor decisions could stem from the board changing from uncompensated to compensated combined with very long service tenures. If you need career growth, look elsewhere as the career growth here is not possible due to the missing HR function, intimate executive relationships, and constant drama with the too many VPs.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your dedication over the past few years as an Associate at OneAZ. We understand your frustration with the turnover in leadership and the impact it can have on stability and direction. Recent changes have brought a renewed focus on consistency, transparency, and strategic alignment, supported by monthly all-hands meetings and open communication channels. We also hear your concerns about career growth. While our internal promotion rate is notably higher than industry averages, we recognize that numbers alone don’t always reflect individual experiences. We’re committed to continuing to improve how we support career development across the organization. Your feedback is truly appreciated, and we’re grateful for the work you’ve done to help serve our members and community.

Pros

Some of the people are nice, capable professionals but that is the exception not the norm

Cons

This place is a cancer on business and the community. The senior leadership is highly dysfunctional whose only concern is to preserve their exorbitant salaries, some over a million dollars or more annually for a company with annual revenue of $200M who touts itself as a not-for-profit. There is no hierarchy nor order. Low level employees have a high sense of entitlement and weaponize HR against their managers when they are expected to show up 2 days per week and work a full day in the office or a meeting is scheduled during their self-proclaimed lunch time. There is massive back channeling directly to the CEO, who is a weakling and an extremely poor leader. This is a horrible place for anyone with skills, experience and credentials. Do not walk...........RUN
