Pros

OpenText is home to exceptionally strong talent and a wonderful team that collaborates effectively. The company benefits from a prudent CEO who isn't afraid to make tough decisions to ensure we navigate challenging market conditions successfully. The leadership is fantastic and open-minded, fostering an environment of innovation and transparency

Cons

At times, there is additional scrutiny on processes and approvals, which can lead to delays in decision-making. Streamlining these areas would further enhance operational efficiency

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
