Pros

A legacy Canadian tech company with a long history in the enterprise software space. Good for fresh grad desire to get into the space. It offers a hybrid work environment, which provides some flexibility, and there are opportunities to work with colleagues across global teams, tho most of the workforce is based overseas.

Cons

My experience at the company was ultimately disappointing due to several persistent structural and leadership issues. While there are talented individuals across teams, the organization as a whole suffers from poor management direction and a lack of accountability at the top and mid level. The leadership is fragmented, with too many bureaucratic layers that slow down decision-making and often result in unclear or conflicting priorities. Compensation policies are outdated and unfairly structured. Despite frequent overtime demands—including work during weekends, holidays, and even vacation time—there is no proper recognition or compensation for the additional hours. Make-up days are not offered, and the workload often comes at the cost of personal time and well-being. The company’s stock performance over recent years reflects these internal challenges and should be a wake up call for senior leadership. Without a shift toward stronger governance, streamlined operations, and more respect for employee contributions, the organization risks continued stagnation. Note: Be sure to carefully read the fine print in any HR-related documents before signing or negotiate.

Pros

While they claim to be "pro-employee" they are very much pro-Canadian employee. As long as you are a Canadian, your job should be safe. And US based role is in jeopardy.

Cons

Laying off all Americans. I do not see relevant data on location based statistics for the last 4 rounds of layoffs. The bulk of the "trimming" has been based in US. This is cost savings. Additionally, they post US based jobs for 24 hours then pull those and post H1B notifications that they could not find equivalent US resources and need to outsource for cheaper money.
