Good advice. We are working on clarifying detention time rules and getting better all the time at pre-planning. Thanks for the feedback.

Pros

This company really values the drivers and office employees and the pay is great especially for the times we are in with the cost of living. They have an open door policy so that means you can personally talk to anyone about an issue in real time.

Cons

Exceptional place to work and grow

Pros

Monday & Friday employer sponsored lunches

Cons

This company in general is ran by a good ole boy system & this bleeds into the F&A department also. Management doesn't know how to truly connect with their team members nor does management truly invest in their people. Instead they assign projects to team members without having an understanding of processes themselves. The management team are buddies who try to micromanage team members but dont micromanage their own time for leaving early for golf outings or kid activities. They show favoritism and dont treat all employees the same. The turnover is high on this team because there is no true growth nor do they compensate employees fairly especially in todays economy. Every year there are ridiculous bonus accruals only for management to reap the majority. Benefits subpar also.
