Pros

It seems like PCC is constantly trying to improve conditions, educate and provide a healthy work atmosphere. the management is available and open to suggestions from all the staff. They are sympathetic to your life circumstances and treat everyone with respect. They give a great discount to all employees and more! The PCC Cooks classes are free and if you go to 3, they pay you 25 dollars! The benefit package comes with the job and is excellent. They will contribute to outside education on a case by case basis. I like that people (employees) are caring about our members and customers and strive to give great service. People are happy working here and if they aren't, they leave! Its hard work but everyone is into it and so it makes it all the more better. Management is chosen carefully for their skills and ability to promote goodwill and good work ethic at all times.

Cons

As with any store, you are on the clock. There is a schedule and store hours to fill . There are less "mandatory "holidays than if you work at a bank or office. I think that it is hard work, i.e.- on your feet, moving, some lifting depending on your job. Its not a fancy job. You can get dirty. There are some tough customers.
