Pros

Better than average benefits. Reliable financially. You'll never worry about your paycheck being late. You get up to %25 off once a month with a coupon, %15 otherwise. Plenty of entry level jobs with long termpossibilities. This is a UCFW house so the typical evasion of regular state law regulated breaks, pay, seniority, discrimination by food service is less likely.

Cons

Once upon a time this was a really great place to work. There are 10 stores, each one is it's own entity. I've seen or worked in half of them. The Deli's are the point of a lot of action. Steady growth has made the kitchen facilites increasingly inadequate for the volume of production needed. The space is dangerously cramped making any production inefficient. The case is so stuffed with bowls the workers have to bend stretch and drop to their knees to fish out the food carefully while desperately trying not spill into the other bowls. Food service is typically back breaking, mundane, gruelling and laborious. Very few Courtesy or Helper clerks that are hired have what it takes to achieve Clerk status as envisioned by the pay structure. Veteran cooks are brought in to try and make sense of the food the company is attempting. The infrastructure is based on patched together theories mostly based on what time the boss feels like working instead logical work flow. New labor budget is typical corporate attempts to create tangible short-term results instead of cultivate a positive experience for the employees. Results will become obvious as customer srevice declines and entry level jobs go unfilled creating negative long term outcomes.
