Pros

Liked the fast-paced process and energy. Loved talking to customers. Upside of a high churn on employees meant you meet a lot of new people who are new hires. Training is good.

Cons

The three founders all spent considerable time in a local cult with the CEO holding a high level role there. Company is full of current and former cult members (Church Universal & Triumphant) so it was definitely something I had not experienced before. Turnover is high, especially in sales/cust service area as people burn out. Upper management seem to lack much experience outside of PFL and take all direction from CEO, who is not a people-person.

PFL Response

PFL hires employees based on skills and qualifications that are necessary to do the job. We hire the best candidate regardless of political or religious backgrounds. We pride ourselves in being an equal opportunity employer and would never think to ask people of these types of questions in an interview. No credible company would.

Pros

Good people, everyone is helpful.

Cons

Leadership has no strategy. The current strategy is just "get the company sold in 5 years"
