Pros

Nice team of people within the creative department, lots of socialising opportunities.

Cons

Creative salaries are the lowest paid in the company, yet the only positions you need a degree to apply. This is a sales business instead of a creative business which is highlighted by the fact everyone is targeted by 'efficiencies'. Leadership team is poor, they are not aware the higher up they are, the more damage they do if they're not pulling their weight.

PHMG Response

It’s disheartening to read that you’ve experienced a sense of “us and them” and feel that leadership isn’t pulling their weight. As a current employee, have you had the chance to raise these concerns directly with your line manager, VP of your department, or a member of the HR team? We also want to remind you that we have our Workplace Champions in place — specially trained colleagues who offer confidential support for anyone who may feel uncomfortable addressing concerns through traditional channels. They’re here to listen without judgment and guide you through any next steps you may want to take. We really do want PHMG to be a place where everyone feels supported and heard, so if you’re open to it, we’d really encourage you to reach out." ~People and Culture Team

Pros

My experience at PHMG has been such a fun and rewarding opportunity, especially for someone with little to no experience in sales. It’s a great place to learn, grow, and build confidence while being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. The culture is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is very welcoming and approachable, always willing to answer questions or offer advice. Since it’s a great starting point for someone new to sales, you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone. The team is supportive, and there are so many opportunities to learn from the people around you. I’ve also really enjoyed the networking opportunities and getting to connect with so many different people across the company. PHMG does a great job creating a fun environment where people work hard but also enjoy what they do. Overall, it’s been an amazing place to start a sales career and build a strong foundation. The skills, relationships, and experience you gain here can set you up for success in future sales roles as well.

Cons

none! I loved my time here.

Pros

PHMG is a great place to breakout in a sales role and gain experience. They offer a 15 week training program called the Academy, where you get first hand coaching, product knowledge and training, and dive head first into an SDR role with constant feedback and support. You also get the commission you earn right away, with a lot of potential to earn extra cash and fun events such as President's club. I was able to attend after my first month and they really want you to experience the fun incentives. Once you graduate the Academy they move you over to a team on the senior sales floor where you still receive constant coaching and support. The team environment is motivating and keeps each day exciting. Everyone is always there to lift you up and keep pushing you to succeed. The culture and environment here is like no other and I was lucky enough to find some of my closest friends at this role. Definitely a work hard play hard mentality where we celebrate the small and big wins daily.

Cons

It is a grind, there are going to be hard days where motivation is hard. It is very metrics focused and you will be cold-calling all day everyday. Kind of the typical entry level role that comes with sales.
