Pros
I'm a new grad night shift nurse and for the most part, the night staff are super helpful and always asking if I need anything. They're always there to ask questions or help me with a nursing intervention that I haven't done before. The floor management is also helpful and always checks in when they see me.
Cons
The hospital has a float pool, so picking up shifts is hard. Although it's a self-schedule hospital, you're required to work 3 weekend days a month so there is no incentive for weekend pay.
