      Bad culture, yes men / woman in SR. leadership - Regional Manager POOLCORP Employee Review

      Pros

      Only pro is the stock options but they will take them away without cause so they are worthless if not cashed in, and you can't cash in something that was awarded when stocks were higher.

      Cons

      The company HR team makes life miserable for managers. You can't do anything to manage people. The CEO has made huge mistakes killing share price and devaluing my stock options. All the good leaders left. They work you to death. They move people into management that yes everyone to death and that is because the CEO wants yes's. I can't give proper raises to good people, I am scrutinized for every single thing, and I work for a guy with no business or leadership experience in my opinion. The claims of the kind of company they are and these people giving 5 stars, are trainees who have yet to go through a single busy season and are told how wonderful they are so they can take my job for 1/2 the money in 3 years.

      Pros

      My experience has been wonderful, as I have managed to learn a tremendous amount about the world of sales and the POOLCORP culture; there is always someone willing to help and guide you through a process or assist you in achieving your goals. I cannot single out just one person, as so many have stood by my side and guided me throughout this journey, but I do extend my gratitude to the entire team. I hope to continue being a part of this great company and, of course, to climb many more rungs up the ladder. THANK YOU POOLCORP!!!
