Pros

I enjoy working with the majority of my coworkers. I have little supervision and can be left to myself to get my work accomplished. There are some great customers.

Cons

Long hours for management; especially in the summer. Understaffed at certain branches. A lot of heavy lifting and warehouse work. Some customers are just selfish thinkers and treat people like crap. Unless you go through the manager in training program it’s hard to be promoted or to have a set training plan to be considered for promotion. Bonus program could potentially be 25% of your take home pay...if you bonus. If you don’t you end up doing the same job as last year for less pay. Not competitive enough with salary.

My experience has been wonderful, as I have managed to learn a tremendous amount about the world of sales and the POOLCORP culture; there is always someone willing to help and guide you through a process or assist you in achieving your goals. I cannot single out just one person, as so many have stood by my side and guided me throughout this journey, but I do extend my gratitude to the entire team.
