Pros
Great ability to accrue PTO, Really good Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits. The work was very meaningful, but the office politics of executive management in Arcadia, was questionable when it came to supporting it's managers.
Cons
A lot of company politics involved. Not enough support from Executive Management to it's supervisors/program directors on keeping problem staff in line. Very little assistance to supervisors/program directors in trying to create and keep a positive and professional work environment with their supervisees. High levels of favoritism from executive management to certain employees. Executive management struggles with stepping outside of their Arcadia office to visit other sites in need of extra support. Low wages and very rare and extremely small pay increases for staff, due to performance evaluations that were worded in a way, so that a great deal of staff would not qualify for raises. Very unrealistic expectations of productivity and latency concerning DMH paperwork in highly intensive programs. Very quick to fire good people who are not making their unrealistic productivity quotas. Focus is not on how hard staff work to help clients get well, but their focus is more on meeting billing, latency, and documentation requirements.
