Pros

I had the privilege (on Paradise's dime, because they care a great deal about giving their employees an opportunity to grow) of going to a Leadercast. In the Leadercast, one of the speakers talked about employee empowerment, and how it means more than just 'bring your pet to work day.' Paradise Energy is one of those employers who truly empowers it's team members. You are allowed and encouraged to ask tough questions. Upper management is very approachable and reaches out for input from everyone. They are rewarded for that by having a team that takes ownership in all aspects of what we do. I have a Master's in Business Administration, and one of the classes in my program was about Shared Entrepreneurship, or employee ownership/empowerment. During the class, we discussed common positives & negatives of different work environments, and after a year and a half at PES, I have still only seen all of the goods and none of the bads discussed in that class. I thoroughly enjoy my employment here.

Cons

Our install timeline usually gets busy around the winter holiday season. Sometimes it can be all hands on deck when your family would rather have you around the house. I've found that most businesses have a busy season, it just happens that Paradise's is in the 4th quarter.

Pros

Solar sales can be a very murky and riddled with hard selling and gimmicks. Paradise sells with integrity and conservatism that I really enjoy. Our customers know exactly what they are signing up for and I know we will take care of them for the long haul.

Cons

Paradise Energy only serves the mid-Atlantic region.
