Pros

-Some of the best non-degree pay I've ever seen and excellent raises -Huge variety of product and customers Store-level associates are top notch. Without a doubt the best people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. -Full benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, Retirement etc) -Learned and developed incredible skills, especially pertaining to jewelry and customer service -I have 120 hours of vacation not including PTO. -Despite the rest of my review, I genuinely enjoy working here. This company put me in the position to get married, buy a house, go back to college, and even worked with me on my scheduling needs. Make no mistake, there are some very obvious and frustrating issues, but this is a great company to work for.

Cons

-Management can be overburdened with unreasonable expectations until they are fired for predictably being unable to meet them, or quit for being unable to devote any more effort -The broker bonus structure is not mathematically sound. It would be better to have no bonus program than to have to sign a writeup for not meeting numbers that are meaningless. -Talent hoarding. Knowledgable and devoted employees are passed over for promotion when they request open positions while newbs are put in management positions. I can only surmise this is because they won't ask questions that are obvious to the rest of us -Wasted capital -Rampant IT and computer issues mean the system sometimes goes down for hours at a time almost halting business entirely

Pros

Work is easygoing at my location. Few customers who cause a commotion. Supervisors are supportive, but not always there for you as it seems like there is a lot on their plates. Opportunity for commission and bonuses.

Cons

I was scammed when I applied. They did not offer me an additional $2 for being bilingual. I applied for the jewelry sales position but that role basically doesn't exist. You are just a regular sales associate. The way the store is ran is disorganized and communication is not consistent. You will be standing all day. Commissions schedule is not clear. Barely any training while on the floor. You are thrown into the deep end immediately. Also the hours are really weird: You do 6, 7, 9, or 12 hour shifts - doesn't make sense. there is No break room. when i need a manager, i cant even leave the sales floor because there always has to be one sales associate on the floor
