Pros

For anyone looking into a sales role at Paycom, this is the right fit for you if you aren't afraid of hard work and want to be the best person/professional/sales rep possible. The training program is by far the best experience I have been a part of where we came out of it ready to close deals on our own, where we learned directly from the best sales people in the organization, and where we were challenged to be people of high character. Could not speak more highly of my experience.

Cons

The training was lengthy, so you will need to be prepared to spend time away from your family/friends. Still very worth it, but it is a commitment.

Pros

Good benefits, easy HR system. As a product, Paycom is very good.

Cons

There has been too much restructuring in the past couple of years. You will get no overtime pay. A bad developer and a good developer will be paid the same. They do not care about what technique you use as long as it works. Got used to a new process that was released two months ago? They just changed it again. The issue was Paycom tried to fix something that was not broken (for the most part) in Development, and now everything is pretty much broken. You will get double the work but no change in pay. They will try to get feedback, but only from managers, not actual developers who work with the system each day. Even though they inconvenience developers every other week with a new priority, if you inconvenience management (usually because they want Rome built in a day), you will have a write-up. Many good developers have left for better opportunities elsewhere as they also were not getting raises or title changes, even though they're doing better work above their pay grade. You only got a raise if everyone was getting a raise.
