Pros

-Founder-led CEO and Chairman - prioritizes and heavily invested in the long-term success of the company, its people and the clients we serve. -Best product in the industry - commitment to innovation is next level. -Best sales training in all of saas - trains people to be elite selling machines, invests in their people for coaching and development geared to make people all around successful humans in business and in life. -Values celebrating achievements, top performance and success - Luxury President's Club trips, luxury gifts, luxury contest prizes, trophies, awards, weekly leaderboards highlighting top performances, stock incentive program, cash bonuses, highly compensated roles, most lucrative sales commission structure in the industry. -High growth potential and upward advancement opportunities - promotes from within and values organic growth. -The people - everyone is working together towards the same goals, has fun, celebrates big and often, supportive, close knit.

Cons

-Due to reputation around training and top performing salesforce, sales reps are frequent targets for recruiters and competitors in hopes of poaching them from Paycom. Hit up non stop by recruiters across all industries. -Highly competitive industry - its also not uncommon for you to be selling against a previous Paycom rep that was let go and now sells for a competitor. -You're one of many elite performers. You may have been the MVP or top performing somewhere else but at Paycom you're surrounded by high performers, who are very competitive, motivated and who also want to be the BEST. Paycom lives by "iron sharpens iron" mentality. Can be a humbling experience for many.

Pros

- Base salary - PTO - Awesome colleagues - $1 Medical PPO offering

Cons

- Upper leadership seem to not value the operations department as much as they do with sales. They are not consistent as well, which causes them to change the entire department's job description, expectations, & commission structure every few months. Change is good but huge change every 3-4 months is so exhausting. - They overload you with too many clients to handle while increasing the number of internal calls. When asking for support from sales or middle management, its typically a hard negotiation or non-existent. Expect to work way over 40 hours/week and juggle 10-20+ clients at a time. - Sales will oversell on product & implementation expectation which makes the job 1000% harder. Turnover with sales is extremely high so don't expect for even the best reps stay as they either leave, get fired because quota was not met, or the new manager will cut them if they're "not the vibe". You get left with the newbies who does not know how to sell or support you when you need them. - Every role in this company has high turnover in general. Making it very hard to cross collaborate with other departments as everyone is either extremely swamped or new to the role and cannot support as well, - Being forced to go to Oklahoma for training every year, sometimes twice a year.
