Pros

Looking back on nearly four years at Paycom, I am truly proud of what I've accomplished and the journey I've taken. It fills me with joy to reflect on how I used to drive past the green building and think, "Someday I’ll work there." Achieving that goal, despite having no prior experience in the field, was a dream come true. I am deeply grateful that the company waited three months for me to complete my studies in the United States, and that my position was never offered to anyone else. This trust has meant a great deal to me. During my time here, I have learned a tremendous amount and grown professionally, especially in quality control. The work environment inspires me daily, and the encouragement I have received from the team has been invaluable. Special thanks to mentors/colleague’s for their support during my transition—your guidance made a significant difference in my development. Thanks to the trust placed in me, my commitment to customer service and maintaining the highest standards of quality has yielded positive results. For example, [brief story or achievement], which was possible because of the team's support and collaboration. Moving forward, I genuinely appreciate every opportunity and the encouragement I've received from everyone at Paycom. I welcome any advice you might offer to help me continue growing professionally and value your feedback as I strive to learn more from you all. I am excited about the future and will continue giving my best to this company, which has given me so much. I'm looking forward to what we can achieve together and thank you sincerely for allowing me to grow professionally and for all the support you have provided.

Cons

As with any workplace, there are always ups and downs—changes and processes that might cause some confusion, upheaval, or even stress. I understand many of us face similar challenges, and I appreciate the efforts leadership is making to address them. For example, I have noticed moments where leadership showed growth, such as the recent team meeting where they openly listened to concerns and provided clear updates. While there is still room for improvement in communication, transparency, and empathy toward others—for instance, more regular updates from leadership could help clarify expectations—I value the commitment to improvement and believe that leadership is working day by day to align the needs of employees with those of the company. I trust them with my future here, confident that I will be given the tools needed to excel, such as access to additional training or mentoring, and achieve both my own goals and the company's objectives. I am here to help others grow as well, and I welcome any thoughts or suggestions from the team so we can support each other. To summarize, I hope for continued growth in leadership and support for employee development. Together, we can create a supportive environment that benefits everyone.

Pros

My compensation is pretty decent!

Cons

The seemingly forever ongoing “restructures” and staff reductions makes it impossible for team members to buy in. Employees remain dispensable to the company, yet Chad just expects people (who are working to support their families, so remaining employed is a necessity for them) to give their life to Paycom. We’re not only losing really good people, but 90% of the workforce is just doing enough to not get fired.
