Pros

The people you work with are amazing they hire intelligent engaged people. Overall the benifits are good. The campus is pretty.

Cons

They do not document their basic processes and do not have processes in place to address when issues with the system are found. There are consistent issues with reporting and systems that get bandaids to fix them. Everytime we file quarterly reports the system breaks because they do not plan for scalability. Working here is like watch people break things with the hope it will magically be fixed. The pay is not comparable to other positions at other companies and you will be asked to do excessive work outside of your job description. You are not given resources to do your job, upper management belives most tax positions are hit a button and get taxes because they are so removed from the day to day work. You will be told to meet inaccessible goals through large amounts of overtime as they continually throw people at process and system issues. They are not providing consistent experiences for their employees or their cients. The company also makes rash choices and changes to processes without fully training and development which is how the end up using programs incorrectly which will cause long term issues for the company. There isn't much room to grow, yiu go through a year long level up, then you can become a team lead or move teams. The CEO would rather redo all the sinage around the office and pay to have our name on a arena but they won't give the tax department a raises we have asked for for years.

Pros

The opportunity available to grow and upskill yourself is unlimited. The people you work with have the care and drive for continual improvement. You will find yourself surrounded by people that have a passion for ensuring that the product and customer service being provided are World Class. You will truly get what you give out of the experience - if you want to Win, Paycom is the place to do it.

Cons

The expectations are high because the standards are - if you are not internally motivated/don't enjoy a fast paced environment, you may not find the fulfillment you are looking for working for an organization that is continuously looking to excel and evolve.

Pros

- Base salary - PTO - Awesome colleagues - $1 Medical PPO offering

Cons

- Upper leadership seem to not value the operations department as much as they do with sales. They are not consistent as well, which causes them to change the entire department's job description, expectations, & commission structure every few months. Change is good but huge change every 3-4 months is so exhausting. - They overload you with too many clients to handle while increasing the number of internal calls. When asking for support from sales or middle management, its typically a hard negotiation or non-existent. Expect to work way over 40 hours/week and juggle 10-20+ clients at a time. - Sales will oversell on product & implementation expectation which makes the job 1000% harder. Turnover with sales is extremely high so don't expect for even the best reps stay as they either leave, get fired because quota was not met, or the new manager will cut them if they're "not the vibe". You get left with the newbies who does not know how to sell or support you when you need them. - Every role in this company has high turnover in general. Making it very hard to cross collaborate with other departments as everyone is either extremely swamped or new to the role and cannot support as well, - Being forced to go to Oklahoma for training every year, sometimes twice a year.
