Lack of upward mobility in this particular position, and the annual raise for this position was very disappointing. I was a top performer in my department, yet was given a very low raise (3% is the standard yearly raise is what I hear), yet it was prorated at about 2% due to being with the company for 9 months, and not the full year. I expected the full 3% at the very least since I out-performed all of my colleagues, but I was told by my supervisor that HR comes up with the standard raise amount, it's not based on supervisor recommendation or merit/performance, which was very disappointing. Why would I strive to be the top performer in my department if I just get the standard raise that my peers receive?
Also, A LOT of DEI shoved down your throat here as well. If you're into that sort of thing, and want to be involved in segregated groups by your race & ethnicity where you get to air your grievances with people that look like you, instead of just wanting to come to work, get your job done, maybe have a laugh or two with co-workers to get through the day, then go home to your family, then this is the place for you.
