Pros

-Product is good -Opportunity to sell into every industry -Good benefits -They give you a lot of resources to sell with and learn from -Overall you will learn a lot in this role -Really enjoyed working with my clients -The job pushes you to get better -Every day feels important -Pay structure is incredible and the reps who last long make a killing and end up benefiting from high turnover -Coworkers in my office were great to work with

Cons

-Feels like you're never actually clocked out -High turnover (My office had over 80% turnover in the 4 months I worked there) between people quitting and getting fired -Very high stress -Short overall rep tenure. Only had 1 rep in my office with more than 1 year of experience. Makes it harder to get good deal advice when you're new -Constant strategy changes from leadership -Unrealistic quota: 1 of 8 reps at my office hit quota -Product positioning in market a bit out of touch. Premium price with little separation from competition. Makes it a very difficult sale which is why the pay structure is good -No flexibility -Old school culture pushes sales and customer support reps away -long long long hours of work needed to do job well. Everyone on my team was putting in 60-70 hours weeks despite not hitting quota -Do not practice the principles they sell their product on. Utilize improved retention and culture as a reason to buy but neither are good within the company amongst other things

Pros

- training that will improve your skill - become better at fear management (fight mode is real)

Cons

- you will be threated to be fired- many many times (even if you work extremely hard) - your hard work is not valued- unreasonable expectations - there is not benchmark of success- goal always moves out of reach - no support, managers are more worried about not being fired than helping you
