Pros

$4 lunches, great and supportive co-workers, decent pay/benefits, bonuses, great to build your skills and gain experience.

Cons

This is hands down the most toxic place I have ever worked. This company does not care about their employees physical safety, mental and physical health and just overall wellbeing even though one of their “core values” is “we care.” Your experience here will completely depend on your assigned team leader and clients. In the 7 months I have been here I have changed teams 3 times and moved desks 5 times. I have to work 9-10 hour days with no breaks just to keep up with the workload. Employees were forced to risk their safety and lives once to come in and work during an ice storm. They switched the dress code on us suddenly and gave us a week notice to buy a new wardrobe. The 4 month training was a joke. They never even taught you what you will actually do on the job or even teach you the basic setup for their products. Only hands on training lasts 4 weeks and that does not prepare you for what is to come. After you transition out of training you’re pretty much thrown into the wolves with very little knowledge or support. They will then pile more clients on you giving you a very unmanageable workload on TOP of the “metrics” you are required to meet. You are also required to stay on the phone queue all day answering phone calls which are very time consuming. Management will give you even more un-necessary tasks to complete by a certain time that will not help your clients or metrics in any way and is simply there for micromanaging purposes and get mad at you if you can’t keep up with all 74 or even 160 of your clients issues. They will hire team leaders with no PSD experience or leadership skills just because they knew someone from the higher ups. These leaders will tell you they will give you “grace” but throw you under the bus as soon as a client complains about you or leaves for reasons you had no control over. Leaders will talk to other co-workers about you behind your back and just have a bad attitude. I have told my leaders several times that I'm very overwhelmed with my client load and can’t take on more work and they pretty much said “too bad” and gave me more work that they knew I couldn’t handle and got mad if I could not figure out an issue within a day. They told me prioritize my metrics and client meetings to improve my clients experience with Paycom but as soon as I did I was penalized for not “keeping up with my emails” despite being told I would not need to prioritize my inbox as much. It doesn’t matter if you work 8 hour days and go home or work 10 hour days, the leadership will not appreciate your hard work and will fire you over one client complaint and then pile on your clients to the remaining team to overwhelm them even more. This place will suck you dry until you have nothing left to give. I can say Im trying my hardest working here and despite that, my efforts are not recognized. There’s more to say but the other reviews speak for themselves.

Pros

- training that will improve your skill - become better at fear management (fight mode is real)

Cons

- you will be threated to be fired- many many times (even if you work extremely hard) - your hard work is not valued- unreasonable expectations - there is not benchmark of success- goal always moves out of reach - no support, managers are more worried about not being fired than helping you
