I’ve worked here for several years and seen the department wash through half a dozen rounds of leadership. We’ve always had struggles from under staffing, to processes being broken, to resources being taken away, etc. but it seems like we’ve always managed one way or another. I’ve always been able to advocate for my clients and ultimately get what I needed to be successful. Somehow we’ve lost that. PSD is no longer the group everyone is here to support but the scapegoat for the entire organization. I can’t get anyone on the phone anymore to solve a problem my client has with another group, I can’t get support from my leaders and ultimately I’m the one having to tell senior leadership why the client left and their focus is nitpicking every interaction I had with the client for years to try to find a way to make it my fault.
