Pros

The role offers a large base salary. Experience in each part of the sales process.

Cons

Work life balance is non existent, you are not really given a "ramp" period, current employees describe the culture as "survival of the fittest," a former colleague said "If you're the kind of person that wants to work so that you can live your life, rather than live your life each day to work- you probably don't belong here," expected to be in your territory in person regardless of where it is by 8 and not leave to travel home until after 5, the role is 3 in 1 because you're an SDR, Solutions Demonstrator, and AE (spreading yourself thin in skillset), likely the worst culture you will ever encounter. They recently changed the expense policy so you are traveling in your own vehicle on your own dollar and your meals are on your own dollar as well.

As an award-winning organization, we're proud of our dynamic atmosphere that attracts high-performing individuals who thrive in a culture of excellence. While our environment may not be the best fit for everyone, we're committed to providing a workplace that supports the growth and success of our team members both personally and professionally. This includes fostering a workplace where our team members feel empowered to both manage their workload and maintain a healthy work-life integration. We’d like to note that while our expense policy has been updated, your comments regarding it are incorrect. Team members are still reimbursed for qualified business expenses in accordance with our company policy. Please reach out to hrmgmt@paycomonline.com if you’d like to discuss your feedback further.

Pros

The work we do is challenging but is satisfying. $4 dollar lunches are great and I enjoy the people and managers I work with. We have gone through changes, but the changes are worth it and the tools we are provided keep us successful. The salary is great and top level, highly recommend working here if you love a challenge. I promise you’ll never be bored.

Cons

The workload and hours can be heavy at times, but the long-term gratification is worth it. Paycom is about long-term investment, and it requires patience and perseverance but it’s worth it, if you are strong enough.

Pros

- training that will improve your skill - become better at fear management (fight mode is real)

Cons

- you will be threated to be fired- many many times (even if you work extremely hard) - your hard work is not valued- unreasonable expectations - there is not benchmark of success- goal always moves out of reach - no support, managers are more worried about not being fired than helping you
