Pros

In general the people are nice, though this is a product of Midwestern values more than Pearson culture.

Cons

Senior management is beyond out of touch; they promise their state and national clients far more than they have the technical capacity to deliver. It goes beyond just being desperate for contracts and it is a genuine lack of understanding of technology. Anyone who appreciates tech should run from Pearson as fast as possible. Job opportunities are mostly lateral. Pearson puts zero effort into professional development. It is very much just a stereotypical, out of touch, large corporation. No one should want to work here though it's understandable that people need work and thus will. Bottom line: if you're young and desire personal growth and challenges this is not where you want to be.

Pros

The job was easy and flexible.

Cons

The job was boring since you had to watch the testers, and not be on your phone.

Pros

Decent pay. Not much else.

Cons

No lunch break, no breaks in general, can’t go to the bathroom for hours on end, the managers’ daughter gets special treatment because her mother is in charge. Constant criticism and unfair treatment.
