Pros
Some of the decorum standards are designed to create a friendly work atmosphere. My favorite of the "P.B. STANDARDS" is B: Basic rule 15-10-5, which states, when passing guests and/or fellow employees (even in the back hallways) ...at 15 feet you make eye contact, at 10 feet smile, and at 5 feet say hi.
Cons
Management follows the tenant that employees are the most expensive part of running the resort and that if their time isn't being billed for they should go home. They follow the letter of the federal and state laws by operating that there are NO minimums in regard to hourly employees weekly hours, and yet stipulate that a certain amount of hours be worked in a given period to maintain benefits. So, many 'full-time' employees end up applying vacation hours to the weeks when they aren't being scheduled, just to maintain benefits.
