Pros

Love working with babies and their families. Every screen is a different experience, and early detection of hearing problems is extremely important.

Cons

No health benefits for part-time screeners. Not much opportunity for career growth unless willing and able to relocate.

Pros

The only positive thing about this job is the friends I have made at the hospital and being able to work with newborns everyday.

Cons

Everything about management. You will be given a million things to do that should be a managers job but they will expect you to do it with no additional pay. There is absolutely no appreciation from management, either.
