Pros

As a newborn hearing screener, the best moments are when you interact with parents. The pay is okay considering I had no experience in this field. If you want to enter in the medical field (get your foot in the door), I would recommend working for this company. They truly care about employees and patients.

Cons

Inconsistent hours. You never know when you're getting off. This job can be stressful at times. The hospital I work at has an extremely high volume of babies born everyday.It is hard to find someone to cover a shift.

Pros

The only positive thing about this job is the friends I have made at the hospital and being able to work with newborns everyday.

Cons

Everything about management. You will be given a million things to do that should be a managers job but they will expect you to do it with no additional pay. There is absolutely no appreciation from management, either.
