Pros

The job itself is wonderful. You have a flexible schedule and depending on the hospital the hours are very easy to work with when you have a family with young children. My coordinator is amazing and compassionate and ethical.

Cons

Pay isn't what it used to be. When I worked there the first time around it was $9 per screen which allowed me to make $17-$20 an hour. Coming back to this job I was only offered a little over half that. Management tries to say that it's better for most people, but I don't really buy it.

Pros

The only positive thing about this job is the friends I have made at the hospital and being able to work with newborns everyday.

Cons

Everything about management. You will be given a million things to do that should be a managers job but they will expect you to do it with no additional pay. There is absolutely no appreciation from management, either.
