Pros

Plenty of opportunity for self-driven, ambitious people who welcome the challenge of shaping their own careers. Want to take on more responsibility, a new role, or learn something new? Just do it and ask questions later! Often, promotion and recognition follows those who take these steps within Perficient, as the company is expanding and growing quickly (through acquisition, but also organically) and there is openness to new ideas and leaders.

Cons

Compensation is average, and the lack of structure or consistency across business units can be frustrating. While it presents many opportunities (as noted under "Pro's"), it can sometimes be tiring to constantly forge one's own path. The self-starter, self-directed culture is not great for new hires, whether experienced or more junior.

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
