Pros

A lot of hands on learning and very little bench time. I work as a BA and I was staffed on a project the second day after I started working for Perficient. There is a low employee turnover rate and many of the senior managers have been here for 5+ or 10+ years which tells a lot about the job satisfaction. Work life balance is fantastic, on average 45hours a week, although Fridays are really flexible and many people work from home or take a PTO. It is really easy to get time off, and big chunks of it too (two weeks!). Plus you get a 'floating holiday' every quarter to use or loose. You get to interact with a variety of client companies, in sectors ranging from banks, medical, retail and your preferences are taking into account when projects are staffed.

Cons

Free unlimited soda, free lunch every last Friday of the month. Oh and fusball table and darts too!

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
