Pros

Perficient houses professionals with varied backgrounds, contributing to a diverse work environment.

Cons

I joined Perficient with expectations shaped by the industry's potential and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team, specifically within the APIM practice. Unfortunately, my experience has been overshadowed by recent management changes that have significantly impacted the practice and overall work environment. * Management Challenges - Communication from management is often unclear, decision-making appears inconsistent, and there seems to be a significant gap between leadership and the rest of the team. * Overworking Culture - There is a prevalent culture of overworking, with employees often facing high workloads and tight deadlines, which can lead to burnout. *Lack of Encouragement for Time Off - Employees are not adequately encouraged to take time off, impacting work-life balance and overall job satisfaction.

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
