Pros
Great company, great leadership, open to new ideas and changes. This is definitely an organization in transition in several ways. Change creates energy among staff willing and open to adapt and anxiety among the ones that can’t. The influx of newer staff definitely is more collaborative, structured, organized and energized than the old status quo. Most of the longer-term Performant staff has jumped right on board with that and adapted exceptionally well, making a good, unified team. Others haven’t, and I would suspect that’s a big reason for some of the negative reviews. There are fewer and fewer of those voices every day as people adapt or transition out. There is a great deal of potential here if the vision of the leadership is seen though.
Cons
Benefits are decent, but a little below average. Performant is in a transition for a reason, which means there are things that need to be cleaned up. Many of those things are surprising in how basic they are. The business seems focused and willing to do exactly that. Sometimes that can create tension among teams/staff.
