Pros
The flexible schedule is nice. You can build up to a few weeks of vacation per year over the course of years.
Cons
Seniority means NOTHING. No considerations for job opportunities. Seriously, none. Not even interviews. QC Chemists with 15 years in the department tried to get into AR&D, but were turned down in favor of someone fresh out of college with no job experience. The longer you're here, the more of a disadvantage it is for you. There's less wage increases compared to the new hires. The focus is to retain them, since you're apparently not leaving. Co-workers with 10 less years seniority quickly catch up to your hourly wage. Your extra responsibilities are given to newer employees so that they can get promoted to a Chemist II or III, while there's still high expectations for you to have additional responsibilities (as a senior analyst). Most people are proud to have worked at the same company for 30-40 years, but Perrigo doesn't care Not one bit. You do get to select a crappy gift every 5 years though. They've even taken away the meal when it comes to service awards.
