Pros
Coworkers are awesome. I don't dread coming to work every day. The managers are super friendly (if you do your work right) and they want what is best for both you and the company. It's also fun having regulars remember you. Training is quick; you learn leadership skills. And, so far I've gotten awesome hours. It is a great first job.
Cons
The worst part about this job are the Parents. They don't set a good example for their kids, they don't look after them, and they treat the place like it's a daycare center. They blame you for not knowing about the multiple posters saying no food or drink allowed in the game room, and they blame you because their child isn't tall enough to ride the ride. They also blame you for losing tokens on a jammed machine, and they lie to you about losing a 20 in the token changer. They get violent, and they cuss out at you. If the kid is a dime's height below the line, then they are below the line. They cannot ride. They cannot force you to let them ride. It sucks when a parent tells you "but he rode it alone last time, why can't you let him on this time?" But after all the crowd is gone, at least you come out knowing how to handle that situation better next time. It is all about the customer service.
