Pros
Working for Phamily gave me the opportunity to not only grow in my role and career, but learn how SAAS companies operate. During my 5 years with Phamily I gained exposure to how technology vendors work with healthcare companies at every level and was able to interact and work with client CEOs, CFOs, Directors, Administration, RNs, MDs, and MAs. This real world experience was extremely valuable and allowed me to transition to the next phase of my career.
Additionally, as a small company / start-up, Phamily gave me the opportunity to truly contribute to growth by developing new workflows, testing ideas, and creating / iterating on our client journey. If you’re a self-starter and want to make a mark on a growing company, Phamily will give you that opportunity.
Lastly, the Phamily Team is diverse, wicked smart, and deeply cares about their mission. Unlike larger companies, I was able to have lots of 1 on 1 time with executive team members who took the time to mentor me, helping me grow both professionally and personally.
Cons
If you want to take it easy, or just clock in and clock out, Phamily is not the company for you. High expectations and growth targets can sometimes create stress and anxiety if you’re not bought into the mission / big picture. Be ready to consistently contribute, innovate, and adjust as the company grows. If you’re not passionate, open to change, or learning new skills, Phamily may not be the right company for you.
