Pros
- Curious group of folks interested in hearing and thinking in a different lens. Questions are framed to learn, understand and unearth potential blind spots or biases. - Even the super busy leaders will take the time to onboard and make new comers (from other teams) feel welcome and included. The collaboration between countries is tough, but everyone is always more than happy to stay late or wake up early to get that face time. - Since day 1, learning & development is emphasized. I've been told to think about potential resources I may want or need to upskill, develop and growth myself professionally. - Generous time off and actually encouraged to take it. European team has a healthy work life balance and that culture is reflected in US too. - Smart, kind, highly motivated team mates that motivate you to want to keep learning & growing
Cons
- Depending on your team and role, there are lots of early morning calls (or late evening). - With the robust feedback culture & time zone challenges, there sometimes is a lot of back and forth in shared docs where it's easy to misinterpret the tone/intention)
