Pros

Can be a lot of fun. Great co-workers who will be friends for life.

Cons

Salaried management signs a contract to get paid for 40 hrs a week but must work 10-15 hours of mandatory unpaid overtime per week. Women get paid less. District managers treat store management like garbage, and store managers live in fear of a visit from superiors. No work life balance. After being loyal to this company for 16 years, I developed a minor chronic illness and was immediately told to quit, disciplined for the first time in my career over petty things, and harassed until I quit. Don't expect loyalty from Roundy's.

Pros

95% of my coworkers are awesome. We are busy but we make sure everyone gets their aisles done. Great team work. I truly love all my bosses. They even stock and clean on top of their own duties. Great communication and are great at problem solving/motivating the team. They never talk down to you and truly embrace the team spirit.

Cons

Non load nIghts can certainly drag. Facing and backstock bores me. Could use more things to do. Insurance isn't the best.
