Pros

The pay was good but that's about it

Cons

The company has since gone solvent. The CEO had no clue what he was doing and was in well over his head when it came to manufacturing. We relied solely on investors to keep the the company afloat. 2 months ago, everyone in the company had their paychecks delayed by nearly a week. We were told this was because of a "payroll" issue. Come to find out directly from the horse's mouth: We had no money to pay the employees. Just yesterday, Oct. 8th 2021, we found out the company has gone solvent because we had numerous investors pull out from investing in the company. Because of this, Plethora had no money to pay employees and no money to pay back the immense amount of debt they had accumulated and owed to our investors and business partners. Over the last 3 months Plethora was in business, an immense amount of people had left the company and Jim Quinn the CEO, was doing all payroll & HR work, in addition to a lot of finance work, and multiple other roles on top of that. Investors did not trust Plethora and quite frankly did not trust Jim, and rightfully so. He is not a very good leader at all and I've seen him personally interact with multiple employees and speak to them like they were lesser individuals that didn't matter. Our finance guy even received a call from his recruiting agency telling him they wanted him to find leave the company because they would no longer support or do business with Plethora as long as Jim Quinn was running things and they found him another position at another company right before Plethora folded up shop. Jim even tried to get him to "fix" the numbers on some of the balance sheets to make things look better than they were. Obviously, Plethora is no longer around due to Jim's many failures, but if you happen to be in the market for a job and notice that the CEO is Jim Quinn, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere, unless you want to continuously be lied to about how the company is doing financially.
