Pros
Podium's product offerings are solid. The in-office environment is fun - music in the common areas & bathrooms, gym, snacks, plus a good amount of swag.
Cons
Podium is immature, and functions more emotionally than professionally. Leadership constantly refers to the fact that the company is a startup, and that's true, but come on; it's been 7 years, and it often seems that phrase is used to gloss over really unnecessary bumps and behaviors. Podium is fantastic at presentation and hype, but it isn't grounded. Over time, it introduces fear and insecurity. You may be in a phase of life where that surface appeal is most important to you, & that's totally fine; I just wasn't. Being consistently in the news (best place to work, fastest-growing company, etc. etc. etc.) is super fun, but isn't worth being jerked around to try to accommodate ever-changing company goals & lack of alignment.
