Pros

I suppose there's potential here -- the aspirations/goals of the company are great, but there are far too many issues.

Cons

- This is the worst part, the management. The owner treats the place like a labor camp -- people have been literally reprimanded for using the restroom in the morning. - There is no room for opinions or different methods. You are expected to follow everything the owner says exactly, this even includes getting yelled at for checking emails for a few minutes after a meeting instead of immediately starting on his request. - I was literally pitted against another employee for a week in order keep this position (poor guy ended up getting fired 1.5 hours into Friday). - The list goes on and on. You're expected to know something or get yelled at. You are lucky if you are trained once on anything, and you better make sure you 100% understand it all or else you'll be told you're stupid. No employee retention, many people leave within a year if not months. No data organization or standard procedures. Plenty of dishonesty and a general lack of care. Avoid this place at all costs. The owner expects the best but doesn't provide anything (terrible benefits).

Pros

- Ideal environment for self-motivated people who want to learn everything from technical aspects of lasers/3D printing to how to grow a sharp engineer's mindset - Many projects to choose from - A lot of benefits included - Respectable rewards - Very good pay raises and promotions if deadlines are met/you work hard - Boss seems to respect a good work ethic much more than some other tech company managers I've had

Cons

I was surprised to see that there are so many bad reviews here... Though sometimes Boss can be a bit harsh, it is understandable since this field requires high-precision and accuracy. When I took his words for face value, I also did improve a lot in the process. At least I felt that Boss does not have biases towards anyone and assessed people fairly (more result-driven). Overtime is not a frequent occurrence, but overtime is regular for any tech company. I thought it was reasonable here.

Pros

Everyone is tortured by management so there's common ground among all of the workers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Cons

The guy in charge is disrespectful, a liar, he lacks emotional intelligence, he won't listen to reason at all, and he expects the world from you while giving you scraps like the overtime. He micromanages everything, poorly, and gives off micro-energy. Unprofessional is an understatement. Outside of the poor management, there's no HR department, poor benefits coverage, and no promotions to work towards. This place is a dead end. Stay as far away as possible from here.
