Pros
1) Will get chance to write code if your working for client , may be US dev team get the chance. 2)More then Average package.
Cons
1) Not suitable to be a product company . 2) Lots of customization done for clients . No standard is maintained here . Whatever the client asks they are ready to do . 3)India dev managers are very dumb Very weak at logical skills. They have bee hired long back and where either relatives/known to founding members . 4) 90% of the good developers from nits/bits have left. now they are hiring from any college, hence the quality has decreased drastically. 5) No cafteria/lunch facility at all. You have to arrange for your own lunch. 6)Every thing is dictated by US Team . 7) No work life balance , some times i have to work till 12 pm in night without having dinner with my dumb manager. 8) They change there policies(HR) very frequently, mostly those policy changes are to trap employee and not employee friendly. 9) As a devloper you would be always on toe .Account managers will directly report issues to you on phone /mail ...no process followed at all. Very stressful situation .
