While I may not be able to directly address your specific concerns I thought it may be useful to mention how we approach some of the issues you describe. Our employees support a large range of customer IT projects from large software development teams to 24x7 service desk operations. These projects are supported from locations from coast to coast at both company and client locations and as a result individual experiences can vary. To help address this we empower our local managers at all locations to host local events. While training needs may vary we provide hundreds of on-line courses through SkillPort. We also budget and provide more traditional classroom training on a case by case basis. We look to continuously improve in these areas. Having our staff, regardless of location or project, feel connected to the company and having access to needed resources such as training is a chief concern. At our size in that we have the feel of a small company where management is readily available and the infrastructure of a mid-size company. While we recently made some adjustments to our benefits package we remain competitive with industry benchmark standards for organizations of our size with in the GovCon industry.
