Is this your company?

I was a production supervisor, my short experience there was absolutely wonderful. - Production Supervisor Premium Waters Employee Review

Pros

The best reasons through my eyes about working there, were the employees themselves. All of the supervisors seemed to be on the same page and wanted the same things. The operations manager, and the plant manager, are two very smart people, and will do anything in their power to help see you succeed and prosper within the company. I personally found the operations manager quite intimidating, versus the plant manager! However, in the end I realized I could speak with both and not feel intimidated by either. I most definitely would recommend this job for anyone that is looking for change, and willing to be open to expressing themselves to the changes you feel could help the company. I wish I was still there! It was probably the best job I ever had. I miss everyone I worked with since the day I left.

Cons

Your first couple months you need to watch out when it comes to stepping on toes. Or you could be like me, ask all the questions necessary, and find out the answers you need. If you see something wrong and unsafe, or even an OSHA violation, speak your mind. To me that is honesty, that's just doing your job. If you know nothing about I 70 traffic in early a.m. morning, and live literally just 30 mins away. You need to leave your house 1 1/2 hours early!!!!!!There is a train I guarantee will make you late for work even if you are there behind the train 10 mins before your shift starts, you can expect to be late! Ask about the bridge that prevents you from dealing with a train. If there is an accident and you are in one lane traffic and it is standstill traffic, or there is an accident, and there are two lanes open however, they are going 30 miles an hour in a 70 mile an hour part, take a picture to prove yourself. If you have been caught in traffic, or the train, go hit your badge on the door as soon as you get there. Then if you have to go back to your car to get something do it after you swipe your badge that way it shows you are there on time. If you are training for an evening shift, and you were doing dayshift training, simply just do your eight hours Monday through Friday. If you are asked to do something like work Monday day shift work Tuesday night shift work Wednesday and Thursday day shift work Friday and Saturday night shift, explain you would rather do when we dayshift and one week night shift you do not want to split it up. It is very hard on your body, and then your body really doesn't know when to sleep and not sleep.

Cons

NOT getting new employees to a local facility to see production operations as part of their onboarding process.
