Pros

Great way for you to waste a year of your life.

Cons

While working at Presidential Exteriors, I encountered one of the most unprofessional environments I've EVER had the displeasure of working at in my entire career. A few of the reasons go as follows: False Promises - When interviewing with PE they're going to promise you the world. They'll offer you a future in "leadership (a hierarchy system made up of management)" within the company, but fail to mention that you have to lick the boots of everyone around you to get ahead. While this sounds like it may be easy to do given the right circumstances, you'll learn that this means engaging in rampant drug use and having to endure the verbal/physical abuse of those that have already made it into the "leadership" circle. Unprofessional "Leadership"- "Leadership" (mostly made of lower/middle management) spends most of their time gossiping and putting down those around them. It's unfortunate, but unless you're good at one of those two things, you likely won't make it into the inner circle at this company. Not my kind of leadership. Verbal Abuse - In more instances than I can count, I've personally overheard members of "leadership"/management use racist and homophobic rhetoric when referencing clients/coworkers. One of which time was directed toward me. And while ownership/management is/was aware of this (through screenshots sent to them), no action was taken to reprimand or change the behavior. Physical Abuse - While at PE I was physically assaulted by another employee, who was not only part of "leadership," but related to the owner (clearly a product of nepotism). While the incident was reported to HR, nothing came of the assault. Out of concern for my potential career there I didn't call the police, but should have. Beware. Drug Use - There's a large amount of drug use in this company. During my time at PE it seemed that this was part of their culture and perpetuated by the owner (sales) and "leadership." Condescending Owners - Specifically the owner who works with Operations. He was downright one if the most condescending and unbearable managers/people I've EVER known. A classic know it all with very little practical experience. Constantly overcompensating at the expense of those around him. Unable to take criticism, but destructive with his own corrections towards other people. Attempt To Hide The Truth Of Their Toxicity - 8 months ago I wrote a similar review where my first hand account was more detailed. In an attempt to hide this from potential employees the owner (sales) called me personally and asked me to remove it. I declined. After this conversation and unfortunately, PE had it removed by over-reporting it to Glassdoor. It's important that employers maintain a level of transparency with potential employees, but clearly this company has no intent to do so. Hopefully this review stays published because this is the truth and potential employees should be aware of where they could possible be mistreated in so many ways.

Pros

- none at all to speak of

Cons

- they are lying to you. If you read this, they are lying about the employment and work culture. You are not getting a sales job, you are being a door to door person trying to scam people. The employees bully most people and say heinous things all the time. I never heard so many slurs in my life. Half the employees who are there long time are usually high or drunk during work. they will work you for 12 hours, and make you do multiple weekends. The pay is less than minimum wage for most people, and they can do that because you are 'salaried', The senior employees say you are helping people when you start, but later admit you need to trick people and they do not care about these people because all that matters is you get paid and so the salesperson can get in the door to pressure them later. you will not bonus, out of 60 people, one bonused maybe. There were guys there 3 years who bonused twice max. They get payed based on specific numbers, that some of them lie about. So they only care about getting enough meat through the grinder. It is not worth your time, go somewhere and be a server, you'll make more and not have your life threatened by a homeowner or your supervisor driving you drunk in the dark at 8 PM
