Saving money, traveling the world, meeting new people The company offer various training for the employee, good food Great experience for new graduates

Cons

Long hours, No days off in 6 months, No privacy(You need to share a room with an another crew) Low wages depending on where you are from. You need to be away 6 months from home

Pros

You get to see a lot of different ports; you don't have to worry about food or paying for your room and board. You get to meet varies people from around the world.

Cons

The pay is not the best for people living in the USA. The job is still enjoyable, and the experience is worth it but this is better as a fresh out of high school or college type of role, or in a sense a way to "backpack through Europe" kind of job.
