9/80 work week Great travel perks including cruises and travel discounts Visible executives who are open to talking and listening Job stability

Cons

Reactive strategy. Resistant to change. Poor corporate location. Cheap in terms of employee benefits. )ie Casual days were benefits in the 90s. They're standard practice in pro-active employers).

Pros

You get to see a lot of different ports; you don't have to worry about food or paying for your room and board. You get to meet varies people from around the world.

Cons

The pay is not the best for people living in the USA. The job is still enjoyable, and the experience is worth it but this is better as a fresh out of high school or college type of role, or in a sense a way to "backpack through Europe" kind of job.
