Pros

Can't argue with free and heavily discounted cruises! Decent benefits, 401K matching and company stock program. 9/80 work schedule is incredible.

Cons

Very old-school feel. They promote all the wrong people and the good ones leave for higher-paying jobs elsewhere. Salary is below market.

Pros

You get to see a lot of different ports; you don't have to worry about food or paying for your room and board. You get to meet varies people from around the world.

Cons

The pay is not the best for people living in the USA. The job is still enjoyable, and the experience is worth it but this is better as a fresh out of high school or college type of role, or in a sense a way to "backpack through Europe" kind of job.
